Hi! Welcome to my small corner of the blogosphere, home of many reblogs and occasional nonsensical ramblings. I go by Callista on the Interwebz, although it’s not my real name. I would go by my real name, but I latched onto this username and it wouldn’t let me go, so there we go. It’s a way to keep one of my own original characters alive, so.

I’m a writer. Not a very good one, I guess, nor a very prolific one, but I try. I am attending the University of Maine this fall. Thinking about majoring in journalism or political science. We’ll see.

I am a serial multishipper. BE AWARE. I can see the good in almost every pairing, even if they might not fit into my personal kink (slightly-aloof-male-who-pretends-not-to-care-until-he-meets-a-girl-and-falls-madly-in-love-with-her-and-would-do-anything-for-her-even-die). Even couples like Stefan/Elena or Chuck/Blair aren’t entirely horrific to me (they used to be, but no longer), and I can see their (sometimes small) good sides even if I don’t necessarily ship them. I tend to be The Great Mediator. I dislike conflict and whining and ship wars and I try to disperse them as best as I can.

Damon Salvatore is my king. Daenerys Targaryen and Elena Gilbert are my queens. Kate Beckett is my princess. I adore males who pretend not to care but in reality care a lot. For example: Damon Salvatore, Harvey Specter, Spike, Derek Hale, etc. The list goes on. I also can’t watch a show without at least a few strong female characters. Spencer Hastings really is my spirit animal.
